                Teenagers in Love

Friends from our childhood or adolescence are special, no matter how much time has elapsed between visits. These compelling connections are the result of shared roots during the formative years. Our childhood friends and teenage sweethearts experienced with us all the wonderful, horrible, boring, and embarrassing moments that helped to make us who we are today.

The age of puberty, however, has dropped. Whatever the reasons for this, reaching puberty influences the age of first love and first sexual experience. It is rare now to marry a first love. Today's teenagers date not for mate selection but for fun. However, the first love experience is no less powerful than it was in the 1940's.
Adults who underestimate the strength of the bond-- or the impact of the loss -- of a first love may have forgotten what a blow it was when they lost their own first loves. They may even try to comfort teenagers with lighthearted lessons: a surprising number of men and women wrote to me to bitterly complain about parents who joked years ago, "Don't worry! Boyfriends/girlfriends are like buses... a new one comes along every ten minutes!" This was not helpful, and it was not funny. The loss of a first love can be so crushing to some teenagers that they become suicidal.

The pain of the breakup will subside with time, but the love may stay buried and dormant for decades. While most men and women find satisfying partners after first love breakups, there are adults who spend their married years aware that "something is missing." They continue to think about their lost first loves. Perhaps if they had married their first loves when they were younger, they tell me, they could have formed lasting and fulfilling marriages, but they will never know. These romances were interrupted - often by their parents' interference.
Teens prefer love because of hormones produced in them in teenage. In this stage, normally teens have opposite sex attraction. These will not last forever. Nowadays these became as a fashion among teens.Especially dating is a usual routine among foreigners. Normally a boy may had many girl friends, similar as girls. In this age they treat love as a hobby.

           Teen  love problems.....

Teen love is hard. Most people fall in love for the first time as a teenager, dealing with very adult emotions and situations. Falling in love, especially as a teenager, is exciting, but there are many problems, too. Some of the most common problems with teen love include a lack of maturity, different plans for the future and insecurity,Peer pressure,Time and Hormones.

    Maturity

Being a teenager is tough. Teens are caught between childhood and adulthood. Being interested in finding a boyfriend or girlfriend is normal. Unfortunately, most teenagers aren't prepared for the level of maturity a real relationship requires. Love takes a lot of give and take, something not all teenagers are prepared for. There may also be problems in different maturity levels between the couple; if one teen is more mature than the other, the relationship may lead to a lot of frustration and misunderstandings.

                                       Time

Between school, work, homework, and get-togethers with their friends, teens may have difficulty making time for a relationship. Most teenagers have curfews, and many aren't able to drive. The relationship may depend on getting rides to the movies or to restaurants with family members. Many teens find that being in a relationship is detrimental to their grades, due to the extra time spent with (and thinking about) their significant other, creating problems at school and with family members, which can hurt the relationship.

                           Future Plans

During the late school years, teens begin to think about their futures, planning for college and careers. This becomes a problem for teen love when the couple don't have similar plans. If one is going to college in another state, and the other is staying home, there may be problems.
Although this is not a problem in some relationships, teen love may suffer if there are other differences in the future plans of the couple. If one is planning on moving out of state permanently, joining the armed forces, or even traveling for a while, the other half of the couple might feel left behind. Many teens who are graduating and leaving home also want the freedom to explore new experiences, without needing to check back with a boyfriend or girlfriend at home.

Peer  pressure

Peer pressure can be a significant problem for teen love. If a girl's friends don't approve of the boy she likes, she may break off the relationship to preserve the friendships. If a boy is getting taunted by his friends because of his girlfriend, he might break up with her to fit in.
This becomes even more of a problem with gay or lesbian teenagers. Even teens who have "come out" may find it difficult to openly date another teen. The nontraditional relationship may cause a lot of problems at school and with family members, as some people have a hard time accepting the different type of relationship.

                    Hormones

The teenage years are the first time people experience lust, and all of the confusing feelings that go with it. One of the biggest problems with teen love are all of the changes taking place in a teen's body, combined with conflicting views from friends, family and the media about the physical side of teen relationships. There are a lot of reasons to abstain from intercourse as a teenager, and a relationship may run into problems if one person wants more physical intimacy than the other is ready for.

          SOLUTIONS TO TEENS LOVE PROBLEMS..............

In this teenage, our sole intention is to focus on our educational activities.
In this period we cannot control our mind as we wish.If we do so, it may turn into an unsuccessful life.So the best solution is not to involve in this teen love.Loving is not a wrong thing but involving it in teenage is totally a wrong decision. To overcome this lets go through this advice segment................
Are you a teenager and experience love every now and then? Well,it can turn into a problem if you don't understand the different situations you might find yourself in.Teenage love or infactuation is more sensitive than that of adults. This is because teenagers are more sensitive to pain,self-respect,dominance and love aswell. We'll give you a complete and explicit idea on teenage relationships.

Figure out if you are
actually in love:

In a relationship, love and infactuation are totally different.Teens need to first make sure if they  are actually in love or not.If they have blind faith on their partner,if they feel happy when their partnerfeels happy then they  are probably in love. But in case of infatuation, the situation isn't like this. They will tend to be insecure and over-possessive.Make sure to know where to draw the line.

Conflicts  with  parents  regarding  partner:

A situation may so arise that teens parents are not approving of their relationship.instead of overreacting, they need to sit and settle scores with their parents.Yelling at them or sulking will only make the whole situation worse.Make a smart move, not a drastic one.

when  you  like  someone but  he/she dosen't  feel like  that  way:

It is a very common situation that arises among teens.Crushes are pretty common among them but sometimes, the one you like secretly might not feel the same way about you.Do not make it evident that you like him or her. This is a major reason of step-backs.Be friendly and try to get mentally closer to each other.Sharing thoughts will strengthen the relationship.

When a partner  is  way  elder  to  you:
This situation works if you and your partner have the same maturity level.Your partner might be elder to you but you need to think a little matured too.It is important to bridge the gap between the ages in relationships.

Misunderstanding  among  teens:
Misunderstanding is caused by faithlessness.

Peer pressure refers to the influence exerted by a peer group in encouraging a person to change his or her attitudes, values, or behavior in order to conform to group norms. Social groups affected include membership groups, when the individual is "formally" a member (for example, political party, trade union), or a social clique. A person affected by peer pressure may or may not want to belong to these groups. They may also recognize dissociative groups with which they would not wish to associate, and thus they behave adversely concerning that group's behaviors.[citation needed]
In young people, youth peer pressure is considered as one of the most frequently referred to forms of peer pressure. It is particularly common because most youth spend large amounts of time in fixed groups (schools and subgroups within them) regardless of their opinion of those groups. In addition to this, they may lack the maturity to handle pressure from 'friends'. Also, young people are more willing to behave negatively towards those who are not members of their own peer groups. However, youth peer pressure can also have positive effects.
For example, if one is involved with a group of people that are ambitious and working to succeed, one might feel pressured to follow suit to avoid feeling excluded from the group. Sometimes the child is pressuring themselves. They feel like they need the group to be cool. Therefore, the youth would be pressured into improving themselves, bettering them in the long run. This is most commonly seen in youths that are active in sports or other extracurricular activities where conformity with one's peer group is strongest.

While socially accepted kids are the best in high school because of having the most class resources, the most opportunities and the most positive experiences, research shows that being in the popular crowd may also be a risk factor for mild to moderate deviant behavior. Popular adolescents are the most socialized into their peer groups and thus are vulnerable to peer pressures, such as behaviors usually reserved for those of a greater maturity and understanding, such as the use of drugs or sex. Adolescence is a time of experimentation with new identities and experiences. The culture of high school often has its own social norms that are different from the outside culture. Some of these norms may not be especially positive or beneficial. Socially accepted kids are often accepted for the sheer fact that they conform well to the norms of teen culture, good and bad aspects included. Popular adolescents are more strongly associated with their peer groups in which they may together experiment with things like alcohol, cigarettes and drugs. Although there are a few risk factors correlated with popularity, deviant behavior is often only mild to moderate. Regardless, social acceptance provides more overall protective factors than risk factors.
